Rehabilitation Training Unit was established in 1976. In the beginning the endeavor of the center was to rehabilitate individuals incapacitated by leprosy. However, as years passed by RTU let its door open to individuals of other disabilities. Today more than 100 physically challenged people work in the rehabilitation center. They are well settled in the society with their families and lead a normal and respectable life.
